If you use the bus or train, this can ensure you don’t shift and move around. But, there may be other instances when need to secure yourself.



If you are on your own in your bed or couch and have to get into your chair alone, for example. It would be much easier if your wheelchair that was not moving around. Sometimes, these public straps  are not enough. They may be broken or not in good condition, which could be risky. By taking your own straps, you know that these are in good working order.
